Unreliable Service. I made an appointment for the next day. I get there early register and gave them my key went into Costco to shop and then after about an hour they call me and told me they couldn't service me tires even though I bought them there. I needed them rotated and balanced. The " Tire Technicians" gave me a ridiculous explanation and stated because of there policy they couldn't touch my tire and then proceeded to give me all these technical explanation which he's not qualified to tell me and at the end of his scripted explanation he had to tell me he really didn't know and he's not a certified mechanic. That's when I remember the tech telling some older ladies that they could get tires but they don't have an alignment machine which is crazy when selling tires people get new tires because of alignment issues with tires which looking at my tires I could clearly see I needed an alignment, so I went to the professionals down the road Townfair Tire and got my alignment and 4 tires rotated and balanced in less than an hour. Next time I buy tires I will get them from someone who can service them without unqualified explanation.

It's hard to find decent people to employ these days even at Costco (known to be a good place to work) where about half the employees have positive, helpful attitudes and are pleasant to deal with, and the other half, well, let's not even begin to talk about. At the Tire Center Danny is an exemplary member of the first group, personable, knowledgeable, communicative, professional, and a pleasure to work with, a real credit to the Costco organization and it's Norwalk store. If he is not already a manager, he should be.

Danny is a great manager that fixed his associates bad service Iβve been a Costco member for years, but this Tire Center experience was extremely disappointing and basically a scam I was charged $200 for a road hazard sidewall replacement on a Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 285/35ZR22 with less than 7,000 miles. That charge implies significant tread wear, which does not align with the mileage. When I asked for transparency in the prorated calculation, I requested that both the damaged tire and a brand-new tire be measured using the same tread depth gauge for an accurate comparison. This request was refused. Additionally, rotation and balancing β services included with Costco tire purchases β were not provided. I expected clear measurements, consistent tools, and full service included under the tire program. Instead, I received resistance and no transparency regarding the calculation. Members should insist on seeing the tread depth measurements and service details before agreeing to a prorated charge. Very disappointing experience.

Eric went above and beyond to help me, and the customer service was truly amazing. While other staff members fixed the tires, Eric at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the process. He went out of his way to make sure everything was handled smoothly, and I truly appreciated his support. He was truly lovely and made the whole experience much better

Called to see if they would look at my tires, guy who answered was very rude, asked me if my tire pressure light was on or not, and then told me they're not a full service shop and hung up abruptly. I don't know that it's not an issue with my tire, google said it could be! UPDATE: There was a screw in the tire! I'm sure had any service rep at this Costco had actually bothered to look at my tire that they would have been able to assess that. I sure hope whoever was working the phone at 3:50 pm on Saturday, September 6th 2025 gets in some trouble.
